Torture

I support a ban on the mistreating of prisoners in U.S. custody, as proposed by Senator John McCain. As he put it: “I don't see how you could possibly agree to legitimizing an agent of the government engaging in torture.” I am angry that the current administration has enacted policies that have given the impression around the world that the United States of America engages in torture, and does not respect the Geneva Convention. We must hold ourselves to the highest of standards! The United States of America should be the example that all other countries try to emulate.
